Adrian Gutierrez is a Marine Corps veteran and biomedical sciences student from Puerto Rico. He is joining the Gerdt Lab for a summer research experience, where he is eager to deepen his understanding of microbial chemical signaling and its broader implications. In his free time, he enjoys running and watching movies.
